After much speculation in the January transfer window, Everton have again been linked with out-of-favour Chelsea midfielder Steve Sidwell. Sidwell only moved to Chelsea last season; but has seen himself used as a substitute, with his last start over three months ago.

Sidwell joined Chelsea on free transfer 12 months ago but looks set to leave Stamford Bridge due to a lack of first team opportunities. The price is mooted to be around the £3 million mark.
