After his goal against former club Fulham, Luis Saha seems to be finally finding his feet at Goodison. The new number nine netted an 87th minute winner last weekend after coming off the bench replacing Yakubu.
“I’m doing a bit better, it’s a bit slower then I expected but I’m still happy,” Saha told BBC Radio Merseyside.
“Things are going in the right direction and that is the main thing for me.”
His return to fitness in recent weeks has seen him feature in Everton’s last five Premier League games, culminating with him scoring the winner against Fulham.
“It is a big boost for me and the team, my main concern is the team and the three points so it is a relief,” said Saha.
“I’m confident that I picked the right club,” he added. “I have players around me who can help me score goals and enjoy my football again.”
