Kenwright “Seething” Over Moyes’ Comments

Posted on 11 May 2008

And the story continues. After Keith Wyness came out and said talks over Moyes’ new contract were “going well”, David Moyes retaliated by saying he had not had any discussions over is contract for over two months (Originally posted here).

Now, Bill Kenwright, the Everton chairman has got himself involved in the debacle. Today, Sunday, A Boardroom source; thought to be Everton PR “Guru” Ian Ross has said that Kenwright is seething that Moyes has not signed a new contract, after being offered £2 million a year for the next five years.

As the limbo continues, it is important to remember that this is Moyes’ last summer in charge of Everton on his current contract.

Trouble with statements like “Bill Kenwright, the Everton Chairman is seething” is, Who said so? Items like “A Boardroom source: thought to be Everton PR “Guru” Ian Roass” . What cast iron confirmation is there of these so called remarks. I ‘heard’ that they emanated from a newspaper, i think the Daily Mail. Would that reassure readers that that would make the news 100% accurate. I suspect not. Lets wait and see what really happens from hereon in.
