Supporters have bemoaned the lack of products to come through the Everton academy in recent times but we have two in the making in striker Hallam Hope and attacking midfielder Ross Barkley who recently represented England U16s in the annual Victory where he scored on his debut with a thumping header from a corner. Hope has also been making great strides in recent times making his u18s debut at the age of 14.
Both players seem to be coming good, and may only be a few years away from joining such products as Rodwell and Jose Baxter in pushing for first team places. It is still yet to be seem if the players will go the root of using everton as a stepping stone to their career, or if they will be signing long term contracts with the club when they reach seventeen.
