The battle for fourth place in the Premier League goes on as Everton face Manchester City at Goodison Park on Saturday. Everton have lost four of their last five games, although three of these have come against Arsenal, Chelsea and Man Utd. Man City on the other hand, occupy the 4th place after overtaking Liverpool. City, have struggled away from home, and have only won two games on their travels this season.
Everton have now lost Yobo, Yakubu and Pienaar to the ACON, and are also set to be without Leon Osman due to injury. Everton will have Mikel Arteta back from a three game suspension, which will be a welcome change to a lacklustre Everton midfield. Manuel Fernandes could also be included in the sixteen for the City game after making his loan move from Valencia, although confirmation hasn’t been proved officially from Everton.
Elano will return for City after a few games out, and Man City are also set to start Nery Castillo, who is their new loan signing. If Everton can win this game, they will grab fourth place in the Premier League, as long as Liverpool lose at Middlesbrough - exciting times ahead!
