After an interval of almost two months, Everton resume their impressive Uefa Cup campaign in Norway with a Round of 32 first leg game in Bergen against SK Brann. While the Blues have been churning through a fixture list that has seen them play nine times since the turn of the year, Brann have been keeping their squad with friendlies seeing as the Norwegian league is in its close season right now. Still smarting no doubt from the controversial finale to their visit to Blackburn last Saturday, Everton return to Goodison Park for their only home Premier League fixture in the month of February where they will play host to Reading.

After the dull draw at home to Tottenham, Everton face a tough trip away to Ewood Park. Everton need to get a result to guarantee that they are still in the Champions League 4th place after this weekends matches.

Everton finally return to action are 10 days mulling over the Semi-Final Carling Cup defeat at the hands of Chelsea. Everton look to confirm their third double of the season with a win at the JJB Stadium against an in form Wigan Athletic. After appointing new boss Steve Bruce, Wigan have been enjoying a good vain of form, including a 1-1 draw at Anfield. Everton look set to have Leon Osman and loan signing Manuel Fernandes back in the squad.

The battle for fourth place in the Premier League goes on as Everton face Manchester City at Goodison Park on Saturday. Everton have lost four of their last five games, although three of these have come against Arsenal, Chelsea and Man Utd. Man City on the other hand, occupy the 4th place after overtaking Liverpool.

Everton will have to take on Chelsea at Stamford Bridge if they are to get to Wembley for the first time in 13 years. Everton suffered an embrassing defeat at Goodison Park at the hands of Oldham, just three days before this match, but the Everton squad will certainly not need a boost from manager David Moyes.
