Arsenal 3 Everton 1

Posted on 18 October 2008

Everton has had a tough time of this year and their match against Arsenal typifies their rough season. They lost 3-1 - but Everton was leading 1-0 until early in the second half when Theo Walcott came on for Arsenal and energized the team to a 3-1 win. Everton’s manager David Moyes took this loss hard as it would have been a great steal for Everton to pull this one out.

Now it comes out that Everton is up for sale and a Middle Eastern group is in talks to buy the team. Everton has Manchester United at home at Goodison Park in their next match, that game will also be a tall order for the boys in Toffee Blue.
